St. Maria De Mattias School is run by the Sisters Adorers of the Blood of Christ (ASC). It offers Co-education and opens up its doors to people at large irrespective of religion, Caste, race, creed and community.
It is based on the principles of character formation elaborated by Saint Maria De Mattias, the foundress of the Congregation. Our goal of educating the children is to build up in them a proper interest, good attitudes and a sense of value. Thus we hope to form them into citizens of the world who will always uphold the truth, peace and security, be clear on principles, be courageous in action and willing to build a just society. To accomplish this, special efforts are being made.
We believe in the value of life and seek, to promote, defend, protect and affirm the life of the people so that they may become mature and grow spiritually and humanly. We believe in a living God who desired the best for us therefore we seek to communicate a sense of hope and a ray of peace so that students may grow in firm faith in God. We believe in the sacredness of each person and seek to encourage a bond of charity so that they may strive to achieve excellence in every field.
We give importance to the values of reconciliation, solidarity and communion, therefore we seek to promote respect for all living beings and creation in our students and faculty. The children who are entrusted to our institutions are God’s image and we seek to have a gracious reverence in them. We believe in the dignity of women, therefore we seek to hear the cry of the blood calling us to liberate women from the ignorance and to educate them to be aware of their human rights.
